I’m both cynical and optimistic.

I love tech and hate what it’s doing to us.

I crave spontaneity and control.

I’m a digital designer.

I grew up online, in a bustling city, and in quiet villages where I spent part of my childhood summers. But mostly online.

I learned English because I desperately wanted to finish a video game and I couldn’t understand what the quest was asking me to do.

I made this website partly to help me find a good job, and partly to make friends. (It’s helped with both.)

I’ve been dreaming of having what we now call “AI agents” since I was in kindergarten.

I read that you shouldn’t start so many sentences in a row with “I” and for years I tried so hard not to, but I don’t care anymore.

I want to do good in the world, and I don’t feel I have yet. But I’m trying. Day by day, little by little, I’m leaving a mark.

I’m an ideas person. I love ideas: having them, discussing them, shaping them. The flipside of that is that, once I polish an idea in my head or on paper, I might lose interest in actually bringing it to life.

I crave tattoos but don’t have any.

I speak 4 languages (Greek, English, German and a bit of Japanese) and take almost too much pride in that.

Some of my favorite songs are in German and it pains me most of my friends cannot enjoy them.

I’ve been collecting mp3s since I was 11 (or so). I have over 1700 saved to my home server now. I know the lyrics of most of them by heart. (The reason I’m so forgetful might be that my brain is full of lyrics.)

I tend to prefer animated movies to live action. (ChatGPT says that means I “value wonder, visual artistry, and worlds that allow for escapism”.)

I used to think ChatGPT would help me write better; now I’m sick of reading generated prose and spot it ten miles away.
